Dental Assisting School of Kyle
Qualifications:
– Experienced Dental Assistant (at least 5 years of cumulative experience as an assistant is required)
– Preferred: existing instructor for dental assisting school
– High school Diploma (mandatory)
– No professional conduct history on your active professional license
– If you do not hold instructor license from Texas Workforce commission, school will help you to obtain one, please review requirements by TWC for instructor (page 8) before applying at

Duties:
Basic job duties includes but not limited to:
– Lecture didactic courses i.e. infection control, dental anatomy, oral pathology, dental materials, dental terminology; basic for Pediatric, restorative, prostho, perio, endo, oral surgery and Ortho; medical emergency, infection control, ethics, resume writing (material will be provided by school)
– Teach alginate impression making, bleaching trays fabrication,
– Basic xray teaching techniques with digital xrays
– Teach four handed dentistry
– Instruments recognition
– Taking attendance
– Administer tests and grading (materials will be provided by school)
– Assisting student for externship and job placement services (providing recommendation letters)
– Enforce school policies as outlined in school catalog
This Job is a part-time on Saturday 8-2.
